Chattogram city unit Jubo Dal president Mosharraf Hossain Dipti was arrested from Cumilla’s Biswa Road area last night.
Confirming the incident, Additional Deputy Commissioner Noble Chakma of Chattogram Metropolitan Police told The Daily Star, “Dipti is accused in the cases filed in connection with the clash in Kazir Dewri area of Chattogram on Monday.
He was fleeing with the help of Cumilla police. We arrested him from Miami Hotel of Cumilla in Alekhar Char.”
“He will be produced before the court,” added the police official.
Meanwhile, former office secretary of city BNP Idris Ali alleged that police last night conducted raid in Jubo dal
and BNP leaders’ residences to arrest them.
